Overview
Vemlet is a monthly subscription service. This policy explains how the free trial, billing, cancellation, and refunds work. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Free trial
A new account starts with one Plus trial lasting 31 elapsed days from signup. During the trial, no payment is required and no payment card is collected. You may ask to use Pro during the same trial, but changing the trial plan does not extend or restart its original end. If you do not explicitly confirm paid continuation, the trial ends without a paid period or subscription invoice.
Paid continuation and billing
Paid service requires the verified owner's agreement on the plan, vehicle limit, monthly price, payment terms and start date through WhatsApp, together with the billing name and address. The founder must record the agreement; a message or trial use alone does not activate it. Plus is Rs. 3,500 per month for up to 10 active vehicles. Pro is Rs. 5,000 per month for up to 25 active vehicles, which is the hard product maximum. Service is billed monthly in arrears. Each invoice follows a completed paid period and is due 14 elapsed days after issue.
Continuation recorded before trial expiry starts at the original trial end. Later activation or renewal starts on the actual date the founder records it, with a new monthly anniversary and no charge for the inactive gap. Renewal gives no second trial. The price for an open period stays fixed. An upgrade from Plus to Pro grants Pro access immediately; Pro pricing starts next period. A downgrade to Plus starts at the next period boundary after the fleet is prepared for its limit.
How payment is confirmed
Subscription payment is by verified manual bank transfer. Vemlet does not collect card details, charge automatically, place an authorisation hold, or use a payment gateway. Sending a message, screenshot, or transfer reference does not by itself confirm payment; the bank transfer is matched before it is recorded. Vemlet is not registered for VAT, so VAT is not charged or added to subscription invoices.
Cancellation
The verified owner may request cancellation at any time. Once the founder records it, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. That period and existing debt remain payable, and no later period starts. Stopping use or sending money does not itself cancel service. Renewal starts on the actual recorded activation date without billing the inactive gap.
Refunds
Because Vemlet bills only for completed service periods and does not charge automatically, there is normally no unused prepaid subscription balance to refund. If a confirmed transfer was duplicated, applied to the wrong account, or exceeds what is owed, contact us. We review the bank evidence and, where money must be returned, record the verified outgoing refund against the specific available receipt funds that support it.
Invoice and payment corrections
Financial history is not erased. An eligible unpaid invoice may be voided. Other invoice errors are corrected with a credit note and, where needed, a replacement invoice with a new number. Confirmed receipt allocations can be reversed and reapplied, and a mistaken receipt or refund is corrected with a linked reversal after the bank facts are confirmed. These corrections preserve the original invoice, receipt, allocation, and audit history.
Unpaid or disputed invoices
Payment becomes overdue at the invoice deadline, but Active service is not suspended automatically. On or after day 21 from issue, the founder may remind you, wait or schedule cancellation. Cancellation for nonpayment can take effect only at an eligible monthly boundary at least 7 elapsed days after the notice was actually sent. Access remains active until then. There are no late fees or automatic cancellation notices. Existing debt remains after service ends.
Ending service blocks new work while keeping authenticated reads, private documents and permitted actions to finish existing work available. The Terms of Service explain those limits. If you question an invoice, contact us so we can review it and make any correction through the linked financial record.
Public links after service ends
Public website removal may take time, including longer than 24 hours after an outage or failed update. Extra visibility does not renew service or create another charge. Document links on your domain stop when Pro access ends. If the subscription remains eligible after a downgrade, the website returns to its Vemlet address after publication updates. Domain purchase and renewal remain separate costs paid to your provider.
While service remains inactive, public access through standard Vemlet document links stops 60 elapsed days after service ends. Private documents and retained records remain available. Renewal at or after that deadline requires new public links; it does not revive expired links. Expiry or revocation cannot retrieve downloaded copies and does not delete authenticated documents, invoices or financial records.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
