Check vehicle availability, save bookings, hand over vehicles and manage returns. Plans start at Rs. 3,500 a month, with every operational feature included.
01
Board
Check the day's work from the bookings and service periods you have recorded.
The day in dispatch order: overdue first, then late pickups, returning today, going out today, currently out, tomorrow.
Open Call or WhatsApp from overdue and late pickup cards where contact details are available.
A fleet strip (available, out, in service, overdue) that filters the vehicle list.
Papers and service reminders show vehicles that need attention.
Download a daily dispatch PDF, then choose whether and how to share it.
02
Bookings
Record the vehicle, customer, driver, dates, price, deposit and agreed rental terms.
Ongoing, upcoming and past. Overdue bookings float to the top in red.
Before saving, Vemlet checks existing bookings, vehicles still out and workshop periods.
Price suggested from the vehicle's rate × days; the deposit is yours to set.
Supported changes after handover need a reason. The end date can be extended, but not shortened.
Cancel before handover and record the held deposit result. Completed and cancelled bookings remain available to read.
03
Handover
Record the vehicle's condition when you hand it over. Saving requires an internet connection and location access.
Six photos: front, back, left, right, dashboard, fuel gauge.
Record the meter reading and fuel level from empty to full.
Capture a driver selfie and signature, or deliberately record a skip.
The handover records its time and location. Missing condition photos need a reason.
Saved condition evidence and the recorded handover time cannot be edited.
Download the agreement in English or Sinhala. Review personal details before choosing a sharing action.
04
Return and Money at return
Record the returned vehicle's condition, review charges and record the deposit result.
Extra km and late charges are suggested from the agreed booking terms. Changing a suggestion needs a reason.
Enter fuel charges with a reason. Damage charges need a description; photos are optional.
Charges determine whether the held deposit is refunded, partly refunded or forfeited. Record any collected balance above the deposit.
Base rent is assumed paid at booking. Deposit and return records do not form a full rental paid or unpaid ledger.
The return receipt becomes available after the return and deposit handling. A document error does not undo the saved return.
05
Vehicles and Papers
Find a vehicle's current work, schedule, recorded money, documents and history.
Status board with filters: available, out, in service, overdue.
Review each vehicle's recorded Money in and days rented for the month.
Review Money in, Money out and Net from recorded entries for each vehicle.
Papers (insurance, revenue licence, emission test) with expiry badges: red when expired, amber from 30 days out.
06
Service
Keep service reminders, planned workshop periods and completed work together.
Plan a service window and it blocks bookings for those days.
Set reminders by kilometres or months. A reminder alone does not block bookings.
Record the completed work, date, meter reading and visit cost. The cost appears in Money out once.
Only work marked as completed resets its reminder. Past services stay on the vehicle's record.
07
Customers and drivers
Keep customer and driver contact details with their rental records.
Search by name or phone number as you type.
A recognised NIC can suggest date of birth and gender. Check the suggested details and correct them when needed.
NIC and licence photos on file per customer; booking history on every profile.
Record a driver's licence number, expiry and photos. A driver record is separate from account access; staff logins are not included.
08
Availability
See which vehicles are available for your dates. Add a booking, and availability updates automatically.
View the next 14 days by vehicle, with booked, in service and free days.
Tap a free day to start the booking with the date and vehicle already filled.
Filter by vehicle type or number plate.
Keep existing bookings, handovers, returns and workshop periods up to date.
Some previously loaded records may remain readable offline for up to 24 hours. They can be stale, missing or expired.
09
Reports
Review Money in, Money out and Net from the rental and expense entries you keep.
The month by business and by vehicle, with days rented beside the money.
Deposits outstanding: what you're holding, in one number.
This year against last year, month by month.
Papers shows known renewal costs for the next 90 days. Service reminders are separate.
Top customers by spend, with how many came back.
Net is recorded Money in minus Money out, not complete or audited profit. Reports do not provide a full rental payment ledger or report exports.
10
Expenses
Record business and vehicle expenses to include them in Money out.
Recorded against the business or a single vehicle.
Service costs appear automatically from completed workshop windows.
A month view with one running total and a filter per vehicle.
11
Documents
Find agreements, return receipts and the daily dispatch sheet under your business's identity.
Rental agreements and receipts as PDFs, in English or Sinhala, per booking.
Rental documents use your business details. Signature output follows the recorded signed or skipped choice.
Download the daily dispatch sheet as a PDF.
Choose an app from the device's share options for the PDF where supported. The fallback opens WhatsApp with a text link; it does not attach a PDF or send a message automatically.
Anyone with a valid public link can read its document until access expires or is revoked. Review identity details and signatures before sharing.
Pro can use an eligible connected domain for document links. These links depend on current Pro access; public links are not permanent.
12
Your website
Your subscription includes a website showing your business, vehicles, rates and contact details.
Publish at a Vemlet address, for example businessname.vemlet.lk. The website does not show live availability or accept bookings.
Pro can connect a domain you own. You pay the domain provider separately for purchase and renewal.
Choose a theme, pick which vehicles show, publish when it's ready.
Photos and prices come from the fleet you already manage.
Hosting ends with the subscription, although public removal can take time. Losing Pro disables document links on your domain and restores the Vemlet website address after publication updates.
Use Vemlet in a browser and try the rental workflow on the device you plan to use.
Open the app on a phone or computer. Home screen installation and sharing options depend on the browser and device.
Supported devices can receive push alerts for overdue returns, missed pickups and service overruns. Delivery is not guaranteed.
Offline access is limited to some previously loaded records for up to 24 hours. Saving bookings, handovers and returns requires a connection.
Sign in with a Sri Lankan mobile number and an SMS code. The app interface is in English.
Before you get started
Check how it fits your rentals
Renters contact you to enquire and book. You enter the agreed booking in Vemlet.
You collect rental money through your usual method. Vemlet records supported deposits and return amounts; it does not collect money or track every paid or unpaid rental balance.
Location is recorded at handover and return. Vemlet does not track vehicles during a rental.
